At R&B Switchgear Group, we are an engineering-led SME specialising in electrical switchgear and power engineering. We deliver high-quality solutions across LV, MV, and HV systems, supporting customers through installation, commissioning, maintenance, and retrofit services.
We are seeking a Senior Field Operations Manager to lead and optimise our field-based service delivery across multiple regions. This is a pivotal leadership role within the business, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of site activities while driving performance, consistency, and continuous improvement across our field engineering teams.
This role has direct responsibility for operational leadership, resource planning, and delivery across a diverse portfolio of live projects, acting as the senior escalation point for complex technical and client challenges while supporting the continued growth of our field operations capability.
Your new role
You will be responsible for leading and managing field operations across installation, commissioning, maintenance, retrofit, and circuit breaker programmes within LV and MV switchgear environments.

You will work closely with engineering, project management, and commercial teams to align resources, improve performance, and maintain strong client relationships.
You will also play a key role in shaping processes, improving utilisation, and driving a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement across the field engineering function.

- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational processes and best practices
- Support the growth and development of field engineers through mentoring and leadership
What you will get in return
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of field operations within a growing engineering business, with a strong pipeline of secured work across LV and MV switchgear projects.
